We have bred black and yellow labrador retrievers since 1988
The history
Our bloodline goes back to our first stud dog, Kozac (born 1982) and his daughter Øksedal Madeline of Square (born 1988). Over the years we have added quite a lot of carefully chosen field trial blood to maintain and strengthen the working ablity, as this is where our interests lie. This does not mean we do not take conformation and construction into account as a well. All parameters are important when it comes to our preferred type of labrador.
The goal
We aim to breed classic, typy labrador retrievers, emphasizing a respect for the origin of the breed and with focus on working ability and temperament. But also without loosing the characteristics of the breed. To continously test that we are on the right track, we make use of the well developed tests and field trials in the Dansk Retriever Klub
It is a great pleasure to us when one of our puppies achieve a titel or do well. There is no greater pleasure for a labrador breeder than to have an old customer call you up 10, 12 or even 15 years after his first lab, saying it’s time for a replacement.
As science over the years uncovered answers to this and that, the recomandations for breeding became more and more complex. We have of course fullfilled every new requirement in our aim to produce physically and mentally sound puppies, who for many years are a pleasure to have and work with. We strongly believe in using scientifically well documentet tests as the way to even healthier, sounder puppies, who stay healthy also when they have become old pensioners
We register our puppies in the Danish Kennel Club.
We are both active members of the Danish Retriever Klub, which is the only internationally recognized retriever club in Denmark.
All the best for you and your dogs!
